IBPS is organizing IBPS Clerk 2017 exam to assess and select candidates for the Clerical post in the various organization. IBPS Clerk 2017 exam inspects an individual on the basis of speed, accuracy and confidentiality in all its activities. It gives a candidate the chance to join the reputed Public Sector Banks and avail the perks and power imparted by these Banks to its employees.
IBPS Clerk is an entry level job in different public sector banks (PSU). IBPS Clerk Exam is conducted once in a year to hire candidates for the post of clerical cadre. The IBPS Clerk examination consists of two common written exams (CWE): IBPS Clerk Prelims exam and the IBPS Clerk Mains exam. In every clerical recruitment it is very important that the candidates are well aware of the regional or local language of the state for which they are applying as IBPS might conduct a regional language proficiency test after the mains examination. IBPS CLERK 2017 NOTIFICATION
It is expected that Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will release notification for IBPS Clerk 2017 in August. IBPS has already given the Calendar for CWE of PSBs and RRBs according to which the preliminary exam is scheduled to be conducted tentatively on 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th December 2017. The Mains examination's tentative date according to IBPS's calendar is 21.01.2018 Candidates aiming at IBPS Clerk have a good time to prepare well for the examination. The Official notification will include further more details regarding the recruitment process and state-wise vacancies.
IBPS CLERK 2017 VACANCY
IBPS Clerk recruitment have different state-wise vacancies and thus, different state wise cut off. Last year there was 22711 vacancy and this year also we are hoping huge vacancy. Candidates must be very careful while choose the state for which they'll apply as according to the notifications and IBPS's guidelines it is a must that candidates should be fluent in the regional or local language as the organisation may conduct a language proficiency test as well at last.
IBPS CLERK SALARY
Approximate salary of bank clerk is 18,000 - 20,000. And other allowances as may be admissible under the rules in force from time to time in the company. The emoluments of a bank clerk may vary from bank to bank but after becoming a clerk there are more opportunities ahead to give internal exams and get promoted to officer grade in a stipulated period of time.

IBPS conducts the recruitment drive for Clerical cadre every year and according to the calendar released by IBPS early this year, IBPS will take CWE VII clerk Online exam in two parts:
1. IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam
2. IBPS Clerk Mains Exam
Note: All participants who will successfully register himself / herself in clerk VII firstly have to fight with (Preliminary) Prelims exam and Shortlist candidates in Prelims examination will be called for Mains Exam. Marks scored in mains exam will be decided for short listing in final merit list. After which candidates might be called for a language proficiency test which will be just qualifying in nature.
IBPS CLERK 2017 EXAM CENTRE
There is exam centre in every state and union territories i.e. 36 but the final list of exam centres for IBPS clerk Exam 2017 will be released along with the official notification. As expected the official notification for CWE of IBPS Clerk - VII will be released tentatively in August 2017.

IBPS clerk Exam Pattern consist of 100 questions & in 3 sections and 1 hour of time. The marks obtained in the Preliminary examination is just of qualifying nature for mains exam. The pattern of the Preliminary exam is given in the table above. The paper is of 1 hour where candidates have to themselves manage time in all three sections Reasoning, Quant and English. As per the trend in banking examination from past year, the preliminary exam is generally easier and with correct time and topic management candidates can get through this phase with ease.
B) IBPS Clerk 2017 Mains Exam Pattern:
IBPS Mains exam will contain 200 questions and time allotted will be 135 minutes. There is separate secional timing for each test of Reasoning, G.A, Quant, Computer and English. The pattern of the Mains exam is given below:

Important Note – Marks obtained by the candidates in the Main examination will be considered for shortlisting for final merit list.
There will be negative marking for every wrong answers in both Preliminary and Main Examination for which there is a penalty of ¼ or 0.25 of the marks assigned to the particular question. IBPS CLERK 2017 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Educational Qualifications:
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination.
Age (as in 2016 notification) : Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years

The online application for IBPS 2017 exam will begin after the release of the official notification. The official notification is expected to be out in August 2017. The official notification will bear details regarding state-wise vacancies for reserved and unreserved categories along with exam details and procedures.
IBPS CLERK 2017 APPLICATION FEE
According to IBPS Clerk notification of 2016-17 following is the application fees for applying for recruitment in Clerical Cadre. The fees is to be paid through online mode:Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

IBPS CLERK 2017 ADMIT CARD
Every candidate who registers for IBPS Exam 2017 within stipulated time will be assigned an e-admit card/hall ticket/call letter that can be downloaded from the official website of IBPS. The admit card for the PRELIMS exam will be released first followed by the admit card of MAINS exam (administered to only those candidates who qualify for MAINS).
IBPS CLERK 2017 RESULTS
IBPS will release the results in two stages after completion of each level Exam. The candidates selected in the rounds progress to the next one. Candidates can check the result from the direct link to official IBPS website as and when the results are announced.
